New Mailbox and Yard Work

Ok, it has been months since I've posted...ugh!
This post should have been from May!



Living in our HOA, they wanted us to put in a pretty brick mailbox. I'm not sure why they didn't like our little black midget mailbox...any ideas?? =)





We had to save up some money and I looked around for months to find a good deal. We ended up finding a fabulous deal and had a bunch of our neighbors in on it. The little address plaque was like $100, but the guy gave it to us for $25! Talk about bargain shopping!! He poured the foundation in and before I knew it, he was done.




Even though the HOA made us do it...I have to agree that it looks nice:)

















We've still got Mike working on our yard. We are trying to pay him off as fast as we can...but as you can see, it is obviously very expensive. This is just an "in progress" photo. Next year maybe we can put the grass in...
