Family visit Fall '09

I feel so fortunate that most of my family was able to come visit again last Fall!

We had a great time together and this photo was taken at Sundance. Some of the Fall colors were out but most had already run their course and fallen to the ground.

The sisters spent a day in Park City, we had a great time! We went shopping and found some great deals like $8 jeans at Banana Republic. Needless to say, we all bought a pair and were sporting them in this photo.

Zoie tried to be a good sport while we shopped. She loved running around and hiding in all the racks of clothing...I can see how easy it could be to misplace your child!

Before we left for Park City, we dressed Zoie in a cute little green outfit. I had recently made a headband for myself and playfully put it on her. Noelle said she doesn't like anything on her head, but surprisingly she left it on...the WHOLE day!

Here she is peaking around the corner...she is so dang cute!

So while we were in Park City, Zoie decided she had had enough shopping. Being stuck in a dressing room was not her cup of tea...however running up and down the hallway in the dressing room and peaking under the doors and crawling into other people's dressing rooms was especially fun to her delight.

There is a small park area by the shopping so we took her there to run off some of her energy. It is so unbelieveably cute how little kids don't get tired of climbing up the stairs and sliding down the slide.

She ran all of her energy out and quickly passed out on the drive home.

Another fun thing we did was go to Costco. Zoie loved riding in the cart and Auntie Paige loved dressing her up in Halloween (costume) vests.

She also loves eating the small cucumbers. It kept her little hands busy while we did some shopping and sampling.

Here's a cute picture of Mommy/daughter. They are so dang cute...I just LOVE them!!

Zoie had some special moments with each one of us during the week. We hold such a special place in our hearts for her!

Here are some special pictures of each of us with her!

Auntie Ariel had fun riding down on the slide with Zoie in the neighborhood park. She also enjoyed playing the piano with her.

Zoie may grow up to be a pianist!

Papa loved reading Zoie books and playing with
her toys with her.

She loved hanging out with Papa and again, loved pointing out the fishies and bears on his shirts and vests.

Zoie was a bit apprehensive around Kenny
this trip and I'm not sure why. She just loved him last time and couldn't get enough of him...always smiling when he looked at her. This time she would cry a lot when he tried to hold her.

However, we caught this DARLING shot of her
and I just LOVE it!!

It's those special candid shots that always turn out so great!

By the end of the trip she decided she loved him and was much more warm towards him!

Zoie loved hanging out with Nana...she loved to hear Nana read her books.

She also had an especially fun time with
Nana when we followed the boys on the golf course.

She had enough of being pushed in the
stroller and decided to push it!

Zoie had a really fun time holding hands with two different people while we walked and playing the "1, 2, 3..." game. We'd get to the point that she would just drop her legs from under her in hopes that we would swing her!

We had fun one night carving pumpkins.
Zoie received her first haircut that night as well.
Aren't the pumpkins cute??

My fabulous neighbor made these cute pumpkins for me for our porch and left them just in time for my family to arrive and see them. Thanks Kathryn...you're the best!! Zoie liked playing on
the porch with them!

We were able to catch a dinner with Herbie...our brother from another family :)

Then Mom, Dad, Zoie, and I hiked to Timp Cave. Mom and Dad had a fabulous time see the sights. Zoie felt that she needed to leave a small piece of her. I had her on my back and she had a pacifier in her mouth. Those things are so hard to keep track of! I leaned over the railing in one area to see some stalag-mites and -tites. Zoie looked over my shoulder and threw her pacifier into the depths of the cave. I had to muffle a laugh and left immediately.

Just a few more pictures. Here's a couple on the golf course. We had such a great time and the weather was beautiful!

Zoie had fun pulling the club covers off of my clubs and making them into her new favorite stuffed animals. I snuck them away from her once we finished golfing.

Dad took lil Zoie over the park next to our house. They had an awesome shovel thingy that you sit on...it was pretty cool. It definitely entertained us! We'll give Zoie another year or so and try it out on her again!

Lastly we made it to the Pie while my family was here. It is soooo yummy! I absolutely love it there. We had fabulous pizza and will definitely be going back!

I love my family so much! Thank you Noelle, Ariel, Mom and Dad for taking the time to come down and visit us! It means so much to me! We just need Beau and Bekah here next time!!
